Updates!

Assalamualaikum and Hi all :)

A little updates on CRM'12. 

Alhamdulillah, around 1000USD has been collected through charity sales, personal and online donations and other forms of fundraising activities. Many thanks to those who have contributed and may Allah bless and reward all of you amin~!

The team is also currently actively seeking for sponsorship from various companies and individuals as the project still need a decent amount of money to be carried out i.e 5780USD. InsyAllah all the money collected will be translated into:

1. Medical supplies

2. Books & other educational materials

3. Hygiene essentials

4. Food (eg formula milk) & clothing supplies

5. Mosquito nets (due to high prevalence of malaria in Cambodia)

We also would like to highlight that insyAllah since the relief mission this year will be carried out during Ramadhan Al-Mubarak, we are having an Iftar Campaign where: 

For only 2 pound/euro worth of donation, you can help treat an orphan for a full iftar

OR 

For 1 pound/euro, you can help the children explore the world from new books/stationaries 

For 5 pound/euro, you can help cover the cost for circumcision of a boy OR help the underprivileged to get their basic medical checkup & medications

Dublin Charity Sale

Salam and hi everyone! :)

Pasar Malam or a 'Night Market' was recently organised by the PPIMI in conjunction with its Family Day and the Dublin CRM'12 crew team had decided to grab this opportunity to help raise some fund for the mission while adding variety to all the specially homemade Malaysian foods sold during the pasar malam.

The first one to finished from our stall was the hot and sizzling Roti John and soon to follow were the colourful cupcakes, soft cookies and kuih keria (sweet potato donut). Alhamdulillah, despite the limited time available, we received great support from promoting to selling of the food and a total of 96euro was raised at the end of the day, alhamdulillah! Many thanks who lend a hand to help out and may Allah rewards you amin. :)

Leicester Charity Sale

Assalamualaikum and Hi,

Recently, a charity sale was being held in Leicester as one of our effort to raise fund for CRM’2012. As the saying goes ‘there is no love sincerer than the love of food’, CRM’12 team members from Leicester took the opportunity to organise a charity sale to satisfy the craving stomach of Leicesterians by selling a fresh, mouth-watering homemade karipap and roti jala from as cheap as 30p.

The charity sale received great response from Malaysian students living around Leicester. Orders were made online and delivered right to their doors within 2 hours. Alhamdulillah, at the end of the day a total profit of £58.65 was collected and added to the relief mission fund.
